Service Operation
During the processing of client deposits and withdrawals, it may become necessary to perform an auxiliary transfer of funds from one address to another that is not directly related to executing a deposit or withdrawal.
Such a transfer is called a service operation and is generally a blockchain transaction.
Impact on Balance
The amount of most service operations does not affect the client's balance in Crypto2B, but the blockchain fee for executing this transaction may be deducted from the client's balance depending on the tariff.
Service operations of the following types change the client's balance in the operation's currency:

ActivationAddress | If activating the address requires transferring funds to it or reserving an amount in the blockchain's base currency, this amount is deducted from the client's balance. The deducted amount is passed in the transaction.amount parameter |
LockedBalance | If the balance on the address from which withdrawals are sent becomes too small for further use, the address is closed and the remaining balance is deducted from the client's balance. The deducted amount is passed in the technicalFee.amount parameter |
UnlockedBalance | If funds arrive at a closed address and it is used again for sending withdrawals, the previously deducted amount is returned to the client's balance. The returned amount is passed in the technicalFee.amount parameter with a negative sign |
The LockedBalance and UnlockedBalance operations, as well as reserving an amount during address activation, do not create a blockchain transaction, so the transaction.hash parameter for them contains an internal operation identifier rather than a transaction hash.
Retrieving Information About Service Operations
The client's system can obtain information about service operations for which the blockchain fee was charged from the client's balance in the following possible ways:
- Process a callback from Crypto2B with information about the completed service operation (see Callbacks).
- Retrieve information about service operations by calling the API
/serviceOperations/feeTakenFromBalance.
